PA Flavor: A Food and Beer Expo will be held Saturday, November 14, 1-5 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, PA.

This inaugural event is presented by the Pennsylvania Brewers Guild and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s PA Preferred Program. The event is designed to highlight the diverse food and beer offerings from across Pennsylvania.

All proceeds from PA Flavor will benefit the Pennsylvania Brewers Guild.

FORMAT
PA Flavor will be attended by 1500-2000 beer and food enthusiasts from across the Mid-Atlantic region. Both breweries and food producers will have representatives on site at the event to talk to attendees.

Up to 40 Pennsylvania breweries will be sampling beer during this event. Attendees can enjoy two-ounce samples of close to 100 different kinds of beer. No beer will be available for sale at this event—only the poured samples.

Up to 60 PA Preferred Program food producers will be on handling sampling their food. Food producers will have packaged food for sale to take home. Packaged food cannot be consumed on the premises.

Up to 20 PA Preferred Program restaurants will be offering cold and hot food samples during the event. Restaurants will incorporate Pennsylvania-produced foods into their recipes. Each restaurant will have a self-serve and served food samples available.

  

PENNSYLVANIA STATE FARM SHOW ARENA
PA Flavor will be held in the Expo Hall at the State Farm Show Arena on Cameron Street in Harrisburg. Attendees will be able to access the Expo Hall via the North Entrance or the Main Entrance of the Farm Show Arena.

There is an $8 fee for parking at the Farm Show Arena. This fee is not included in the PA Flavor ticket price and all entering cars will be required to pay this fee.

Attendees parking in the Farm Show Arena parking lots will enter PA Flavor via the North entrance. Signs will guide to the event.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The State Farm Show Arena is located approximately 1 mile off Interstate 81.
