Pennsylvania Brewing Company has been making award winning authentic German beers since 1986. Located in Pittsburgh in the historic German brewery complex of the Eberhardt and Ober Brewing Co. (founded in 1848), its massive brick and cut stone buildings are listed on the National Register.
Penn Brewery is an authentic German brewery in every detail. The entire brewery was imported from Germany, with a German brewmaster, recipes, methods and ingredients. All beers are made exactly as beer is made in Germany. The brewery operates both keg filling and bottle filling lines and makes 12 different award winning beers that are sold in more than 500 restaurants and beer distributors throughout Pennsylvania.
The Penn Brewery has a German theme restaurant featuring a view of the brewery, German food, a full bar, outdoor beer garden and live entertainment. Special events: Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest on the first Saturday in June and Oktoberfest the last 2 weekends in September.
