Established in 1987, the Stoudt Brewing Company located in Lancaster County, is the first microbrewer in PA since prohibition.  Carol Stoudt, the 1st woman brewmaster in the U.S. since prohibition, has developed award-winning recipes for her family of fine lagers which include:  Gold Lager, Fest (amber lager), Blonde Mai-Bock and Pilsner lager styles.

Recent years have yielded Carol’s diverse line up of ale recipes which include two Belgian styles (Abbey Double and Abbey Triple), and authentic English style ale (Scarlet Lady Ale), an Imperial Stout (Fat Dog Stout), the popular American Pale Ale and her award-winning unfiltered wheat beer (Stoudt’s Weizen).
